Enniskillen is getting ready for one of its biggest Halloween celebrations yet, with nine days of events, attractions and family activities planned across the town this October.
Running from Friday 23rd to Saturday 31st October 2026, Halloween Unleashed will bring together returning favourites including the Pumpkin Patch Experience and Spooktacular 5K alongside several new attractions for this year.
Organised by Enniskillen Business Improvement District (BID), the programme will also feature a town centre Halloween parade, fireworks, ghostly boat trips and a Family Fun Day on Halloween itself.
Halloween fun from 23rd October
Halloween Unleashed gets underway on Friday 23rd October with the Spooktacular 5K.
The popular event, sponsored by Enniskillen BID, has already sold out, with runners expected to take to the streets in an assortment of Halloween costumes.
Several attractions will then run throughout the Halloween period from 23rd–31st October.
The Pumpkin Patch Experience will return to Castle Island, giving families the chance to explore the patch and capture some Halloween photographs.
There will also be a Witchy Trail around Enniskillen, challenging visitors to follow clues and find hidden witches in shop windows.
New Halloween attractions for 2026
Among the new additions this year is Fright on Forthill, an immersive Halloween experience at Forthill Park.
Running from 23rd–31st October, the self-guided trail will feature eerie illuminated ghostly installations throughout the park.
Another new addition is the Halloween Hideaway, which will offer ghost stories, Halloween colouring, photo opportunities and appearances from special Halloween characters.
Halloween will even make its way onto Lough Erne, with Ghostly Boat Trips taking place daily throughout the celebrations.
Halloween parade returns to Enniskillen
The Halloween Parade will return to Enniskillen town centre on Thursday 29th October.
Organisers are promising the town’s biggest Halloween parade yet, featuring spooky characters, zombie dancers, music, entertainment and plenty of costumes as the parade makes its way through Enniskillen.
Fireworks on Friday 30th October
One date families will want to make a note of is Friday 30th October, when Enniskillen’s Halloween fireworks display will take place.
The display will be one of the highlights of Halloween Unleashed, with organisers encouraging people to come into town, enjoy the other attractions and find a viewing spot for the fireworks.
The date is worth noting in particular, as the fireworks are taking place on the Friday evening, rather than Halloween itself.
Family Fun Day on Halloween
Halloween Unleashed will finish on Saturday 31st October with a Family Fun Day in Enniskillen town centre.
Entertainment, activities and Halloween fun for all ages are planned as the town marks Halloween itself.

The programme is being delivered by Enniskillen BID with support from Encirc, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council and Choice Housing.
With returning favourites alongside several new attractions, there should be plenty happening around Enniskillen throughout the Halloween break.
