The District Support Team (DST) in Fermanagh had a busy weekend, tackling crime and keeping the community safe with a series of significant operations.

Friday Night:
DST conducted a house search that uncovered a substantial drug haul, seizing approximately £4,000 worth of Class A drugs, £4,500 worth of Class B drugs, and several thousand pounds in cash. A man was arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.

Saturday Night:
A BMW was stopped in Enniskillen for driving without insurance—the second time in a month the driver had been caught. Upon inspection, officers also found a quantity of Class B drugs in the vehicle. The driver has been reported to the Public Prosecution Service, and the car was seized.

Sunday Night:
DST patrols in South Fermanagh led to a high-speed chase after a vehicle failed to stop for police. The pursuit ended with the use of a stinger, and the driver, already disqualified for three years, was arrested. Charges include dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, failing to stop for police, and driving under the influence.

The DST continues its efforts to tackle crime and ensure the safety of the Fermanagh community.
