Lower Erne Community First Responders have received a vital donation of first aid equipment and PPE from the Donnelly Foundation, the charitable arm of Donnelly Group, Northern Ireland’s largest independent vehicle retailer.

The donation will enhance the capacity of local first responders, who are often the first on scene in medical emergencies across the community.

Supporting Local Heroes

Paul McMulkin, Site Director at Donnelly Group Enniskillen, expressed the company’s pride in supporting the initiative:

“We are proud to support the Lower Erne Community First Responders through the Donnelly Foundation.

As a local business with deep roots in Enniskillen, we recognise the vital role the first responders play in our community.

Often the first to arrive in emergency situations, they provide crucial care in moments where every second counts.

We hope the new equipment and PPE will assist them in continuing their work safely and effectively.”

Since its establishment in 2019, the Donnelly Foundation has supported a number of local projects in Enniskillen, including St. Joseph’s College, Enniskillen Running Club, and St. Patrick’s Primary School.

A Boost for Emergency Response

Mary Murphy, a first responder with Lower Erne Community First Responders, welcomed the support:

“Being a community first responder is a challenging but rewarding role, and knowing that organisations such as Donnelly Group value our efforts is incredibly uplifting.

This donation has provided us with essential equipment that will allow us to continue helping people when they need it most.

This generous support strengthens our response capabilities and reaffirms the purpose that drives us every day.”
